If using air secateurs for pruning an 8cfm  is recommended.

If using an air chain saw for continuous or street tree pruning a 30 cfm two stage heavy duty cast iron compressor with head unloading valves is recommended. With this option the engine is upgraded from a 14HP to 20 HP and is fitted with a large capacity air tank and lubricator. The compressor is mounted on a pivoting base for simple, fast V Belt adjustment.

Air Chain saw & bar/dip rack

Air operated chain saws are lightweight and are an efficient tool for cutting branches up to 120mm in diameter. They come in pistol grip or with telescopic extensions. It is recommended that a bar/dip rack is used in conjunction with a saw. The chain saw bar is immersed in oil which ensures effective lubrication of the chain. Bar dip/racks are available in standard or fibreglass coated for low voltage insulated applications.

Two man cage

Two man cage with hand controls provides ample room for two people. Three tool trays are incorporated into the front & rear of the cage. This is ideal for hire fleets and construction work. The cage hydraulically rotates 45º left and 45º right. Controls are directly mounted, allowing the operator to phase all movements. This option is available only on 80 5 Squirrel.

The Yanmar 3TNM68EPP 3 cylinder water cooled diesel engine provides a reliable, efficient alternative to petrol for most applications and has low noise & vibration levels for maximum operator comfort. 

The Yanmar has direct injection,  forced lubrication with oil pump,   external oil filter, automatic extra fuel starting device,  self bleeding fuel system,  cast iron cylinder liners,  low oil pressure, high water temp, low water level, battery charge and v-belt damage shut down,  key switch panel with warning lights,  electric start .  Efficient alternative to petrol for heavy duty applications and has low vibration levels for maximum operator comfort. Recommended for street tree pruning & 30FCM air compressor.
