John Fry with his mother Edith and brother H Phillip bought
Crendon farm in 1904. His mother died in 1911 & Phillip was killed in
Gallipoli. John married Mary Clifton (early settler family of Australind)
and raised a family of four sons and two daughters.
Mick and two of his brothers Philip
& George (Geordie) all married and continued to live and work on the farm.
Philip has passed away, Geordie has retired and lives in Busselton. One son from
each family still lives and works on the farm.
Crendon Machinery was formed by Mick & Audrey Fry and their
son Neville while living & working on Crendon farm. Mick still continues
to work but commutes from Busselton where he now lives.
