Donnybrook Apple Festival History

The Apple Festival has a long tradition and was originally held in different fruit growing towns throughout the South West region.   From 1978 the Apple Festival was held in Donnybrook and run by local committees. Following is a brief summary of previous Apple Festivals, Queens, parade floats and significant events associated with the festival.

A lot of this information and photos has been sourced from the late Doug Henderson's book "Apple Queens & Festivals".
